Solomon Carter Fuller taught pathology and neurology from 1899 to 1933 at the Boston University Medical School, where he rose to an associate professorship. He was also a pathologist from 1897 to 1919 at Westboro State Hospital. Born and raised in Monrovia, Liberia, he graduated from Livingstone College in Virginia in 1893.
